Interactive simulations for technical leaders.
Simul TL Logic is a text-based simulator for people who have to lead without always having the final say. It is also useful if you want the job: a senior engineer can try the Tech Lead role here before the promotion arrives.
You sit between engineering, sales and leadership, and you rarely get to just decide. Practice pushing back on a CEO four days before launch, unblocking a Tech Lead who wants a refactor first, and handling a feature that marketing sold before it existed.
Your job is people now, and no code review will catch the mistakes. Practice protecting a burnt-out team from an impossible deadline, dealing with a brilliant engineer who ignores everyone, and talking to a team that has heard rumors of layoffs.
You got the role for your technical skill, then found out the hard part is everything else. Practice running a 2AM production incident with the CEO on the phone, and stopping sales from tasking your developers directly without ruining the relationship.
Each scenario is a fixed script written by a practitioner. You read the situation, choose what to say or do, and the story moves on from your choice. Your decisions change hidden scores, so a reply that feels safe now can cost you trust later.

Get the team packTraditional leadership courses and executive coaching can be very valuable, but they often cost thousands of dollars and take months. Simul is for the repetitions in between: you try a hard conversation, see what it costs you, and try again. It is not a replacement for a good coach. A script cannot adapt to your exact situation or your company, and a person can.
| Compare | Simul | Traditional course | Executive coaching |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | $49 once for lifetime access | $1,500 to $3,000 | Often thousands of dollars |
| Time | Minutes per scenario, any time | 40+ hours of lectures | Often months |

No. The scenarios, choices and scoring are written by hand, based on 14 years of real-world product management experience, and they run as fixed scripts. You are not chatting with a bot. You are working through specific, messy situations that happen in tech teams.
Every Season 1 scenario can be played for free. Survive the 2AM Call and Survive the HiPPO War need no account and can be replayed. The others need a free account and allow one play each. Detailed analysis and unlimited replays need a license.
It is not a subscription. Lifetime All Access is a one-time payment of $49 plus local taxes, and the Team License is $99 plus local taxes for 5 lifetime licenses. Both are limited-time prices.
Most scenarios are listed at about 4 to 8 minutes. The two Toxic Boss scenarios are the longest, at 25 to 35 minutes. Everything runs in your browser on desktop or mobile, with nothing to install.
There is a 14-day Happiness Guarantee. If you play through the first 3 scenarios and feel you have not learned anything new, email support@getsimul.com for a refund.
